Manage your tasks and projects with Kanban boards

Workspace

Your Workspace is your personal task management area where you can organize your projects and tasks using a Kanban board. It helps you stay organized and track your progress on various projects.

Accessing Your Workspace

  1. Click "Workspace" in the navigation menu
  2. Or visit your profile and click on the Workspace tab

Task Board

The Workspace features a Kanban-style board with three columns:

To Do

  • Tasks that you haven't started yet
  • Click "+ Add a card" to create a new task
  • Drag tasks to other columns as you progress

In Progress

  • Tasks you're currently working on
  • Move tasks here when you start working on them
  • Each task shows when it was created

Done

  • Completed tasks
  • Move tasks here when finished
  • Keep track of your accomplishments

Creating Tasks

  1. Click "+ Add a card" in any column
  2. Or click the "+ New Task" button at the top
  3. Enter a task title
  4. Add a description (optional)
  5. Click "Create" to add the task

Managing Tasks

  • Edit: Click on a task to edit its details
  • Move: Drag and drop tasks between columns
  • Delete: Click the X icon on a task to remove it
  • View Details: Click on a task to see full details including creation date

Task Information

Each task card displays:

  • Task title
  • Description
  • Creation date
  • Time since creation

Best Practices

  • Break down large projects into smaller, manageable tasks
  • Move tasks to "In Progress" when you start working on them
  • Move completed tasks to "Done" to track your progress
  • Regularly review and update your task board
  • Use descriptive task titles and descriptions

Integration with Other Features

Your Workspace integrates with other Latimer features:

  • Link tasks to code snippets you're working on
  • Reference audio rooms where you discussed the task
  • Share your workspace progress with team members
